As the name suggests, the story is about Will Trent, who was left alone when he was young and had to deal with many hard things as he grew up in the real world. Even though he has seen the worst of life, he chooses to become a person who can help make the world a better place for people like him instead of criminals.

After working hard to become a special agent at a foster care home in Atlanta, he joined the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. He got the highest clearance rate in the agency. With his unique view of the world, he would do anything to help people on their own.

In the show, he has to solve crimes like murder that look like they can be solved with evidence but change over time. Can Trent solve the cases and show that everything he’s been doing with his life has been worth it, or will he start to doubt himself along the way?

The trailer says that the show has a new take on criminal investigations and a funny main character who wears a three-piece suit and catches bad guys. The plot of the series seems to be based on the first book, Will Trent: Triptych, with a few minor changes.

Ramon Rodriguez will play Will Trent, a determined detective with the highest clearance rate in the GBI. He will be the main character of the show. The actor is well-known for his roles in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Need for Speed, Battle: Los Angeles, and Marvel’s Iron Fist.

As Faith Mitchell, Iantha Richardson will help him solve crimes as a partner detective. Richardson has been on American Soul, This Is Us, and Good Trouble, among other shows. Erika Christensen will play Angie Polaski. She has been in movies like Swimfan, Flightplan, The Perfect Score, and Traffic.

The supporting cast includes Deion Smith as Jeremey Mitchell, Jake Mclaughlin as Michael, Isaiah Stratton as Officer O’Hara, Todd Allen Durkin as Captain Dennis Heller, Cora Lu Tan as Nico, and Jennifer Morrison as Abigail Campano.
