Prince Harrys Memoir Spare Released: The much-anticipated memoir by Prince Harry now has a release date. The book’s publisher, Penguin Random House, said Thursday that “Spare,” Harry’s biography, will come out on January 10, 2023.
The publisher said the book has “raw, unflinching honesty” and called it a “landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”
When the book was first announced last year, Harry, the Duke of Sussex, said it would be “an accurate and completely truthful account of my life from my point of view.” The book’s title seems to be a nod to the order in which Harry was born. He is Prince William’s younger brother.
Prince William was the next person who would be king of Britain. The official royal family website says that Harry is fifth in line to the throne, after William and his three children. Harry, who is 38, is the youngest child of King Charles III and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
Diana died in a car accident in 1997 when Harry was 12 and William was 15. The most recent description of Harry’s memoir is when he and William walked behind Diana’s coffin after she died on August 31, 1997.
