Traci Braxton battled esophageal cancer for a year. Traci’s complete path is not documented, but her family indicated that she stood firm against her problem, addressing it as bravely as possible. Sir Kevin Jr., Traci’s son, took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself with his beloved mother, Traci, along with a beautiful message.

“When I learned the news about my mother’s illness, the first thing she said was I’m going to battle and beat this,” he wrote. She fought till the bitter end and is now at peace. I will always love my mother, which hurts me, yet I’m at ease knowing she’s no longer suffering. I love you, mum, and I’ll miss you.”

Traci Braxton died on March 11, at 50, after a battle with cancer. Esophageal cancer affects the esophagus, which transports food from the back of the throat to the stomach for digestion. Traci had to lose a lot of weight since the lining of her esophagus was severely damaged. Following treatment and several drugs, the singer was in the worst physical condition imaginable.

While Traci was fighting for her life, the internet was buzzing with theories. Her admirers and followers were concerned about the star’s health.
