The Circle is a reality competition show for Netflix that was made by Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group. The show is put together by Shane Byrne, Tim Harcourt, Stephen Lambert, Daisy Lilley, Susy Price, Chet Fenster, Richard Foster, and Toni Ireland.
The show’s first season started on January 1, 2020. The second season started on April 14, 2021. The series’ third season came out on September 8, 2021, and the fourth is set to come out on May 4, 2022. The show has already been picked up for a second season, which will start on Netflix soon.

The Circle Format and Cast
In The Circle, the players move into different apartments in the same building. They are kept away from each other and the rest of the world. They talk to each other through text on a social media app that lets them show themselves in any way they want.
Catfishing is the act of showing other players a different side of themselves than the one you are. Each contestant has to rank everyone else in the group from best to worst, and their average rankings are shown to the whole group from best to worst. The ones with the most votes become influencers, while the others might be taken off the list.
There are some twists to the blocking process, such as the lowest-rated players being blocked right away, not knowing who the influencers are, or blocking more than one player at once. Blocked players have to pack up and leave their apartments right away, but they can meet and talk to any active player they want in person. The day after blocking, the other players see a video message that shows if the player who was blocked was real or a catfish.
In the fifth season, Michelle Buteau is likely to return as the show’s host, but the creators haven’t said anything else about it yet.
The Circle Season 5 Release Date
In August 2021, The Circle was picked up for a fourth and fifth season. Since the fourth season will come out in May 2022, the fifth season should come out sometime in 2022.
Like the first four seasons, the new one might have 12 or 13 episodes. Once Season 4 starts on Netflix, the rest of the information should be made public.
