The Blacklist Season 10 Finale: The End of an Era as the Show Concludes!

The Blacklist ends after ten years on television and hundreds of superb James Spader rants. The popular thriller series’ forthcoming Season 10 will be it’s last, according to NBC’s announcement.

In a statement, showrunner and executive producer John Eisendrath said, “After 10 years, hundreds of Blacklist cases, and more than 200 episodes produced, we’re honored to reach our conclusion,” “Creating the bizarre, cunning, and amusing Blacklisters to trouble Raymond Reddington and our FBI Task Force every episode has been a lot of fun.

We want to extend our gratitude to everyone at NBC and Sony, our outstanding team who consistently pulls off the seemingly impossible, our never-endingly creative writers and producers, and our remarkable cast who brought these characters to life.

We are grateful to our devoted fanbase for joining us on this fantastic journey, and we can’t wait to share our final season with them.”

“We applaud our fantastic partners at NBC for a spectacular 10 seasons of The Blacklist, the show that introduced the world to Raymond Reddington, wonderfully portrayed by James Spader,” continued Jason Clodfelter, co-president of Sony Pictures Television Studios.

Hundreds of Blacklisters and iconic guest stars joined James in directing a skilled and diverse group that inspired us to all cheer for this anti-hero. We extend a hearty thank you to the committed crew, hard-working cast, and gifted writers.

We are excited for viewers to witness how Raymond Reddington makes his final bow as we begin the last season of the wildly entertaining television program created by the unforeseen narrative twists.

Since the first season of The Blacklist, Spader (who is also an executive producer) has captured viewers’ attention as the mysterious fugitive Reddington, who secretly aids the FBI Task Force in apprehending hundreds of the most accomplished and elusive criminals in the world, also known as his infamous Blacklisters.

The landmark 200th episode of the show will run on Sunday, March 19, and the 10th and final season, which debuts on Sunday, February 26 at 10/9c, will also have Red facing “unprecedented danger” when his status as an FBI informant is in jeopardy.

The Blacklist proved to be the ideal combination of highly talented producers, excellent writing, a cast that never failed to deliver, and a crew that always rose to the occasion, according to Lisa Katz, president of scripted content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

“It isn’t often that a series resonates so deeply with an audience that it airs for 10 seasons,” Katz said. “A huge thank you to our partners at Sony, everyone from the past decade who made this show an integral part of NBC’s storied history, and, of course, a special nod to James Spader, whose performance remains nothing short of spectacular.”

NBC will air the season finale of The Blacklist on February 26 at 10/9c. It will stream on Peacock after airing on NBC on Sundays at 10/9c.
