Selena Gomez responds to rumors on celebrity TikTok that she is being bullied by “mean girls” and discusses the anguish and suffering she went through while in the public eye.
Although Gomez and Kylie Jenner dispelled fan rumors that Jenner and Hailey Bieber had made fun of Gomez’s eyebrows last week, Gomez attracted attention from fans once more for commenting on three additional TikToks featuring her ex-husband Justin Bieber‘s wife, Hailey Bieber.
Also, she commented on a fourth TikTok in which a user urged followers to respect Gomez and Hailey’s privacy by pointing out that they would not see the derogatory remarks posted on their sites. Gomez defended Hailey and herself by saying, “facts.”
PopFaction, a celebrity news fan account, was alerted to Gomez’s TikTok activities after noting that Gomez defended her longtime friend Taylor Swift in a TikTok that featured old footage of Hailey pointing her tongue out whenever Swift’s album was mentioned.
“So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game,” Gomez commented.
On a subsequent TikTok, Gomez expressed her gratitude to a fan for expressing her condolences for everything that Gomez had to experience in public, including witnessing Justin marry Hailey so soon after their almost ten-year on-off relationship came to an end in the spring of 2018. In June 2018, Justin and Hailey rekindled their romance. They became engaged in July, and they were wed in September.
The TikTok user asked after listing all the hardships She had endured. Can you picture going through a public split with a man you’ve been in love with for seven years only to have him marry someone two months later? And then you have, like, an autoimmune disease or chronic illness—sorry, I don’t know much about lupus, but I can’t image that it’s fun—and you have to deal with that and the flare-ups while others are watching you.
Then it would be best to deal with mental health when life is already difficult enough. She deserves praise for being brave, outspoken, and forthcoming about her struggle.
But I imagine it would be complicated if we spent a day in her shoes, where everything is so widely reported, and when you say one word and everyone starts pursuing you, etc.
Thus, Selena Gomez comes to mind whenever I have a challenging day. Although it pains me to say it, anyone can if she can.
Gomez commented, “That made me cry. Thank you!”
Gomez claimed that her breakup with Justin was the “greatest thing” that ever happened to her in the documentary My Mind and Me.
That was confusing, she added, “I feel like I had to go through the worst conceivable heartbreak ever and then just forget everything at the drop of a hand.” However, I only believe that it was necessary to occur, and in the end, it was the best thing to have ever happened to me.
With all the “mean girl” abuse that followers feel Gomez is experiencing from Kylie Jenner, Hailey, and other women, a fan declared on the third TikTok that she was now officially backing Gomez.
Gomez left an “I love you” remark on the article, standing up for her against the abuse she has received from “mean girls and no babies.”
Notably, the user particularly criticized Jenner for how she treated Gomez, even though Gomez didn’t respond to those allegations.
