Rhamondre Stevenson Injury: Monday night was not a good day for Rhamondre Stevenson’s excellent second season. In the second half of the Patriots’ 27-13 victory over the Cardinals, Stevenson was ruled out due to an ankle injury.
New England’s leading rusher went out with an ankle injury in the first half, was labeled as doubtful, and then returned to the game for a little while. Not long after, just before halftime, he strolled to the locker room, which was the end of his night.
Stevenson, who will be a 2021 fourth-round pick, had a promising rookie season, rushing for 606 yards and scoring five times in 12 games. He had 734 yards through 12 games this year, which was more than his total for all of last year. The five touches that Stevenson got on Monday only netted him 10 yards.
Rhamondre Stevenson left the game tonight with an ankle injury. Asked before he left the locker room if he’d be able to play next week in Vegas, the Vegas native said, “I hope.”

Having already played without injured running back Damien Harris and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, New England also lost Stevenson and wide receiver DeVante Parker (concussion), making things considerably tougher for an already tricky offensive situation.
