Frank Thomas Dies: Frank Joseph Thomas was an American professional baseball left fielder, first baseman, and third baseman who played Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1951 to 1958 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Braves, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Houston Astros.
He died on January 16, 2023. He hit and threw with his right hand. He was 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) tall and weighed 200 pounds (91 kg).

Frank Thomas, a great player for the Pirates, died on Monday. He was 93 years old. The man was born and raised in Pittsburgh and played for the Pirates for his first eight years in the major league. He was a member of the Pirates Alumni Association for more than 30 years.

Thomas was an All-Star three times in the National League while he played for the Pirates. He led the team in home runs five times and four times. He taught in runs batted in. He has seven kids: Joanne Harrison, Patty Cain, Frankie Thomas, Peter Thomas, Maryanne Pacconi, Paul Thomas, and Mark Thomas.
