After a series of stabbings rocked the city of Davis, police have detained a person of interest as they attempt to make an arrest.
The suspect’s dark, curly hair and black Adidas track pants were consistent with the description released by Davis police, which CBS13 validated.
Karim Abou-Najm, a student at UC Davis, was shot and died on Saturday; he was arrested between Pine Lane and Colby Drive, a block away from Sycamore Park. The person was brought into custody and is currently being questioned by police in Davis.
