Born x Raised Founder, Chris ‘Spanto’ Printup, Loses Life in Tragic Car Collision

Chris “Spanto” Printup, the founder of the Los Angeles-based apparel label Born X Raised, d!ed in an automobile acc*dent on Wednesday.

Born x Raised stated on social media that Spanto, 42, was injured in a car acc*dent on June 25. He passed away early Wednesday morning in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“He leaves behind his wife Anna and three children, Marilyn, Carter, and David, a sister, three brothers, his mother, step mother, and step father, his beloved grandparents, his family at Born X Raised, his extended native family, the city of Los Angeles that he loved and championed, and an extensive network of true friends,” according to an Instagram post.

Born x Raised was founded in 2013 by Spanto, a Venice Beach native of Apache and Seneca ancestry.
