Apple TV+ Unveils Foundation Season 2 Trailer: Apple unveiled the second season of ‘Foundation’ with an official Sneak Peek trailer late this morning. Adapted from Isaac Asimov’s bestselling novels, Foundation follows a group of outcasts who embark on a dangerous mission to restore humanity and rebuild society after the Galactic Empire collapsed.
Winner of the Screen Actors Guild Award and nominee for an Emmy, Jared Harris plays Dr. Hari Seldon in Foundation. Also, starring are Emmy nominees Lee Pace as Brother Day, Lou Llobell as Gaal Dornick, Leah Harvey as Salvor Hardin, Laura Birn as Demerzel, Terrence Mann as Brother Dusk, Cassian Bilton as Brother Dawn, and Alfred Enoch as Raych.
The foundation was created by David S. Goyer and executive produced by Robyn Asimov, Josh Friedman, Cameron Welsh, David Ellison, Dan Goldberg, and Marcy Ross at Apple’s Skydance Television.
Yvette Nicole Brown (“Disenchanted”), Harvey Guillen (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Scott Adsit (“30 Rock”), and Gideon Adlon (“Blockers”) lend their voices to “Shape Island,” a brand-new stop-motion series for kids and families that was announced today by Apple TV+.
The world premiere of “Shape Island,” an animated series based on Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen’s Shapes picture book trilogy, will air on Apple TV+ on January 20. This new stop-motion animated series from Apple TV+ is clever, funny, and inspiring.

It takes place on a charming island, where viewers can join the serious Square, the adventurous Circle, and the tricky Triangle on their silly adventures as they dig up some fun, search for answers, and build on their friendship while learning to navigate each other’s differences. For kids, “Shape Island” demonstrates that company comes in all forms.
Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen, authors of the books on which the series is based, are executive producers alongside Kelli Bixler and Drew Hodges (“Tumble Leaf”), winners of an Emmy Award for their work on the show. Co-executive producer and head writer Ryan Pequin.
