Actor Tom Sandoval Addresses Ariana Madix Split!

After divorcing Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval is putting out a statement. The Vanderpump Rules star addressed the breakup that shocked fans and fellow cast members on March 4.

“Hey, I fully understand and deserve ur anger & disappointment towards me, but please leave Tom Schwartz, my friends, and family out of this situation,” he wrote on Instagram. “This was a very personal thing.”

He also expressed regret to Schwartz and Sandy’s staff for whatever harm his activities might have caused the establishment.

“They did nothing wrong,” he said. “I’m so sorry that my partners, Greg, Brett, Schwartz, and our employees, must suffer for my actions.

I will be taking a step back & taking a hiatus out of respect for my employees & partners. I need some time to address everything else. Sorry for everything.”

Some of Tom’s on-screen friends responded to the remark on their personal social media pages shortly after he made it public.

“S*ndoval. Shut up. Employees, abort a mission,” LaLa Kent wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Where’s Ariana’s apology in this?” Katie Maloney added, “Where’s the mention of hurting Ariana?! No apologies to her?”

On March 3, a source close to VPR production revealed Tom and Ariana’s breakup to E! News. A future episode of the Bravo show’s 10th season would probably feature the drama since the insider mentioned that cameras were rolling throughout the breakup announcement.

Ariana was spotted hanging out with friends at the Tove Lo performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles hours after the breakup made headlines.

Meanwhile, Tom performed at The Grove of Anaheim in Southern California with his cover band Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras.

“He put on a great show,” one audience member told E! News. “Unless you know what’s happening in the rumor mill, you would never know something was happening.”

Another eyewitness added, “He came into the crowd after during Yachtley Crew’s performance. He smiled and took pictures with everyone, and watched the show. He seemed ok.”

Before parting ways, the pair had a nine-year relationship. While Ariana, 37, joined the cast in the second season after moving from another one of Lisa Vanderpump‘s restaurants to SUR, Tom, 39, has been a member of the form since the show’s debut in 2013.

Although Tom had broken up with VPR co-star Kristen Doute in 2014, they declared their love at the season two reunion episode.

Since then, the show has chronicled both its highs and lows. Most notably, during season seven, Ariana and Tom’s relationship suffered when the co-owner of TomTom told his buddies an NSFW story about his girlfriend and VPR cast member LaLa.

When Tom shared the story without asking Ariana first, Ariana claimed that Tom had “betrayed my confidence,” but the two later reconciled. The pair refuted claims that they were dating openly earlier this year.

Ariana tweeted in January, “After a season 10 trailer generated rumors about their love life, “It’s not an open relationship between us. I’m not that cool. I believed that to be evident.”

The polyamorous rumors were also refuted by Tom, who said to E! News last month, “We are not in an open relationship.” We’re both pretty busy, and we both have stuff going on, he continued at the time.
