Longtime Houston Radio Host Randy Lemmon Dies At 61!

Randy Lemmon Dies: Longtime Randy Lemmon, a gardening expert and a radio host in Houston, died on Wednesday. He was 61. Also, it was his birthday. Lemmon died because things went wrong after he had a stroke.

Lemmon was the person to go to if you wanted to know how to deal with the unusual weather in Houston. He told people in Southeast Texas about tips, tricks, and science. Several times over the years, he was on KHOU 11 News.

Lemmon went to college at Texas A&M and had a radio show for more than 25 years. Before he became one of the most well-known radio names, he worked as a TV and radio producer for the Texas Farm Bureau. He then spent a few years at Texas A&M making news and commentary for an agricultural network.

He was born on January 4, 1962, in Whittier, California. His parents moved to Houston, where he went to high school at Robert E. Lee. Plans for a party to celebrate life will be announced later.
