James Cameron Talks Avatar Sequels: James Cameron, who directed Avatar, is starting to accept that the world of Pandora will now take over his life and career. Cameron has admitted that he will have to make all of the planned Avatar sequels now that the first sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, has made over $1.5 billion at the box office and is well on its way to breaking even.
The director will be busy making sequels until 2028. Cameron repeated on the most recent episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? that Avatar 3 is already “in the can.” Even so, even though Avatar: The Way of Water made a lot of money, Cameron says that things can change quickly in the movie business.
Now that Avatar: The Way of Water has made more than $1.5 billion and is the highest-grossing movie of 2022, audiences can expect to see a lot more of Jake, Neytiri, and their family for many years to come.
Avatar 3 Will Introduce A Fire Navi Clan Known As The Ash People!
Not much is known about Avatar 3, but Cameron recently gave us hints about what to expect. The director wants to change things by adding another Na’vi tribe, the “Ash People,” who are a fire tribe. This will make the natives of Pandora look worse.

“I want to show another side of the Na’vi because I’ve only shown their good sides so far,” Cameron said. “In the early movies, there are terrible examples of humans and excellent examples of Na’vi. In “Avatar 3,” we’ll turn things around.”
