Fact Checking Policy

Reporters need to use specific language, headlines, and URLs. They must be aware of the influence words can have and behave properly. Reporters must then validate the data they compile. Along with identifying information like names and titles, this also includes claims and testimonies of fact. The ethical policy serves as a guide for reporters as they use their own judgement to perform their own fact-checking. In some instances when it thinks it is appropriate, Light House Journal will use fact-checkers.
