We have no information on the premiere date for Season 5 of Virgin River. Season 5 of Virgin River will premiere on Netflix in the summer of 2023, as this is when new episodes of the show have previously debuted.

Barbara Pollard joined the cast of Virgin River in season 4, making her debut as Melissa Montgomery. Fans recognize her as the leader of Emerald Lumber, but she may be on the lookout for fresh talent when it was revealed that she is the sister of Nick (the man who invested in Jack’s plan to expand his mobile home business).

And since Nick’s fortune was built on the backs of his family’s business, Melissa may have some hidden grudge towards our favorite bartender. Speaking to TVLine about Melissa’s potential future ties to Virgin River, Alexandra Breckenridge said, “Nick and Melissa getting engaged in this glamping business may or may not become troublesome for Jack.”

I have no idea what she plans to do at this point. Melissa does not mean well, and it is unclear if Nick is unaware of or aware of Melissa’s actions. His demeanor suggests that he is a genuinely lovely person. If I had to guess, I’d say his wife doesn’t know what’s happening. By now, she’s probably informed the entire town about it.

The cast has finally assembled for table reads. However, we have no idea who else will be making the trip to the Virgin River. Just days before the premiere of Season 4 on Netflix, the official Instagram account for the show shared a Zoom photo of the complete cast and staff posing together.
