Lady Gaga’s next cinematic appearance came in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, the sequel to 2005’s hit Sin City. Gaga appears in the film as Bertha, a diner waitress. American Horror Story: Roanoke
The sixth season of American Horror Story is titled “Roanoke.” In the famous television series, Gaga reprises her role as Scáthach, an evil witch. The season is set in Roanoke, North Carolina, and follows a young couple encountering ghostly activity in their home.
Scáthach, Gaga’s character, arrived in America via ship and was sentenced to be burnt at the stake when she was discovered. She was able to call her abilities and make her way to safety. Gaga’s performance in American Horror Story: Roanoke is not only terrifying and creepy but also pivotal for the series overall.
American Horror Story: Hotel
Continuing with American Horror Story, season five of the series American Horror Story: Hotel is next on the list. Even though it was her first time on the program and she was working with AHS veterans, the actress more than held her own.
Gaga provides a frigid and seductive performance as Elizabeth Johnson, also known as the countess, the vampiric proprietor of the Hotel Cortez, that draws spectators in and keeps them fascinated for the duration of the act. This performance launched her acting career and earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance in a Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
Gaga: Five Foot Two
Lady Gaga published Gaga: Five Foot Two, a documentary about a difficult period in her life, in 2017. She struggles with love, power, fortune, and success in a world ruled by males who will not take her seriously.
