There are a few unanswered questions. We don’t know who will play Doctor Doom in the MCU. We may expect a major name, as he is one of Marvel’s most famous villains in history.

James Gunn has stated that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be “the last time people see this team of Guardians,” leaving it unknown whether they will return.

Finally, there’s the unsettling prospect of Marvel resurrecting Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. as Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. However, given how the multiverse arc has taken over the MCU, any actor who has ever played a Marvel hero may appear.

The script for Avengers: Secret Wars has been assigned to Michael Waldron, the writer of Loki and Doctor Strange 2. Some have claimed that Ryan Coogler could take over, while the Russo Brothers could return.

Avengers Secret Wars Plot

There have been several Secret Wars storylines in the Marvel comics: the original crossover from 1984 to 1985; the sequel, Secret Wars II; 2004’s Secret War, which has nothing to do with the first story; Beyond, a successor to the original series; and the 2015 Secret Wars event.

We won’t go into too much detail, but we will describe the original Secret Wars, as aspects of it will most likely be included in the film adaptation.

In Secret Wars, a cosmic entity known as the Beyonder takes Earth’s most powerful heroes and villains to Battleworld, a planet designed solely for the purpose of allowing them to battle. “I come from the stars!” Slay your opponents, and whatever you desire will be yours! “Nothing you wish for is out of my reach,” the Beyonder informs all those he has kidnapped.

Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Iron Man, She-Hulk, Thor, the Wasp, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men are among the heroes who appear.

There are other villains in the picture, but two stand out: Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, and Doctor Doom, who has yet to be cast in the MCU.
