American Horror Story is a prominent horror anthology television show. Every season’s primary story is a miniseries that revolves around fresh characters in a fictional world. They all have a beginning and an end and are inspired by real-life events.
Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Lily Rabe are among the cast members who have appeared in many seasons. Frances Conroy and Denis O’Hare have also been regulars for six seasons, with Jessica, Jamie Brewer, Kathy Bates, Finn Wittrock, Emma Roberts, Adina Porter, and Angela Bassett appearing in five of the ten seasons.
American Horror Story Season 13 Release Date
Since Season 10 premiered in 2021, there is a highly slim likelihood that Season 13 will be released anytime soon. Season 12 is expected to launch in 2023, while Season 13 is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
Except for 2020-21, when the COVID pandemic threw television schedules into disarray, American Horror Story has always premiered in September or October.
While FX has not announced a launch date for American Horror Story season 12, logic suggests it will likely air in autumn 2023.
While several series have faced production and release date delays due to the ongoing Writers Guild Strike, the twelfth season of American Horror Story does not appear to be one of them.
According to a Variety article last month, the series is not only still in development, but it is also set to premiere later in 2023.
American Horror Story Cast
Matt Czuchry was one of the first season 12 cast members to be announced, with The Hollywood Reporter stating that the actor had joined the series earlier in April 2023, following the cancellation of Fox’s The Resident. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has joined the season 12 cast, joining returning alum Emma Roberts.
Though details regarding her character are scant, The Hollywood Reporter reports that the reality TV star will play a part designed specifically for her. Kardashian made the announcement on Monday, April 10th, with a teaser video of an unnerving rendition of Rock-a-Bye Baby.

Roberts later shared the same video on Instagram, captioning it, “This summer… Kim and I are DELICATE.”
“Kim is among the world’s biggest and brightest television stars, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” co-creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement.
“Emma and I are thrilled to work with this cultural force.” Halley Feiffer has written a lively, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we’ve done before.” Roberts joined the show as a series regular in 2013 but left after the ninth season.
American Horror Story Season 13 Plot
Since its inaugural season, American Terrible Tragedy has been regarded as one of the most distinct horror series. It was well received by both the general people and the critics. Season 10 premiered in 2021. Therefore, we don’t know much about Season 13. Because it’s a show with multiple stories, each episode should have a new and unique plot.
Every year, the next theme is the only thing each American Scary Story fan is interested in. As usual, Ryan Murphy’s team is being tight-lipped about any details, if they’ve even chosen what season 12 will be about. So, for now, all we can do is look back at rumors and concepts that were never employed to determine what will happen.
There has been speculation in the past of cryptids being the main focus, or possibly a reunion period similar to the one seen in Apocalypse. However, sirens may soon begin to play a role.
Murphy began things in April 2021 by posting a poll, which has since been removed, asking supporters which theme they want to see next. Among the options were Aliens, Christmas Horror, Bloody Mary, Piggy Man, Sirens, and Plague.
Aliens played a memorable role in era ten. Thus, they won’t return. Bloody Mary was the subject of an entire episode in season 2, thus she is also not returning. The disease, or something similar, might be said to have been a feature of Season 11 of NYC AKA.
From what’s left, Sirens appear to be the way to go. Perhaps the evil Santa from the second season will reappear via the chimney in Christmas Horror. Ryan Murphy has yet to reveal anything about the upcoming season of American Scare Story. There are nearly too many alternatives because the show comprises several separate stories.
