Tom Cruise Had Plastic Surgery, Botox, Fillers & Hair Transplant?

Tom Cruise Plastic Surgery: On July 3, 1962, Thomas Cruise Mapother IV was born in Syracuse, New York. His mother was a special education teacher, and his father, who bears his name, was an electrical engineer. The three sisters of Tom. William Mapother, his first cousin, eventually went on to become an actor and has worked on several productions with Tom.

After his father accepted a position with the Canadian Armed Forces, Tom Cruise spent part of his early years traveling around the country. Later on, Tom would assert that his father had been a bully who had beaten him and his siblings. In 14 years, he attended 15 schools.

Tom didn’t always envision himself as an actor. He took theatrical classes in middle school, although he was more of a jock at that time. After being removed from the wrestling team due to a knee injury, he switched to acting in high school. After putting in a lot of effort in the drama club, Cruise was swiftly cast as the lead in their performance of Guys and Dolls.

Tom remained uninterested despite receiving praise and support for his acting abilities. In fact, he briefly attended the St. Francis Seminary in Cincinnati with the intention of pursuing a career as a Franciscan priest. He was dismissed from the seminary because of his drinking. In 1980, Tom completed his studies at Glen Ridge High School in New Jersey.

Has Tom Cruise Had Plastic Surgery?

In behind-the-scenes photos from his most recent Mission: Impossible movie, Cruise was also seen with a bloated face, which caused fans to assume that he had everything from Botox to fillers or even even a full-blown facelift. We don’t expect to hear any official confirmation from the Edge of Tomorrow actor anytime soon because he has a totally different appearance now than when he originally began his career and has never acknowledged doing any job. Therefore, the best we can do is guess!

Even more recently, on November 15, the actor was spotted at the Duxford Airfield in Cambridgeshire filming some stunts for Mission: Impossible 8 and was sporting a mystery mark on his cheek that he reportedly didn’t try to hide. It’s interesting to note that the actor was spotted looking like himself again just a few weeks later.

Since nobody seems to know the answers, fans have once more turned to social media to ask inquiries about the mysterious mark and his drastically changed visage in general. However, this time around, we’re interested in hearing from medical professionals rather than fans (and occasionally even trolls). It’s vital to keep in mind that neither of the aforementioned medical experts has made a claim to work with Cruise; rather, they were only called to provide a more knowledgeable view about what the actor might have done or even what they might have recommended.

According to Radar Online, Pam Agullo, MD, the actor’s face could be down to “filler abuse,” expressing shock at Tom Cruise’s transformation. He had been able to maintain his good appearance for so long. He appears to have put on a lot of weight or may have been abusing fillers. If that is the case, it is the ideal illustration of how fillers can really make you look older when used by a novice.” It would be interesting to watch if the rest of his body also exhibits weight gain, she said, thus

Dr. Frank Agullo, her husband, concurred with her and told Radar Online: “He appears to have acquired facial weight or had too many cheek fillers. He could benefit from blepharoplasty and skin tightening because of the extra skin on his upper eyelids and the creases around his eyes. Additionally, he has slack neck skin and jowls that could be improved with skin tightening or a lower facelift.” Over the upcoming few months, we’ll continue to keep a close check on Cruise’s face to see whether it changes even more.

On recent red carpets, such as those at the Cannes Film Festival and the London premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, the Jack Reacher actor *again* appeared drastically differently. Fans and cosmetic doctors may believe that the actor hasn’t truly undergone recent plastic surgery this time, but he may be taking a cue from Simon Cowell and putting the procedure on hold permanently instead. Who could have foreseen this abrupt U-turn?

Although his appearance at the end of 2021 was attributed to alleged cosmetic surgery that hadn’t yet settled, it has been suggested that his most recent appearance could either be down to the surgery finally settling (hence the extremely noticeable fine lines on the actor’s face) and him choosing to forgo any top-ups or a combination of slightly different cosmetic treatments. We also can’t ignore the longer hairdo, which may just be the result of his decision to let it grow out or may be the result of another factor, like a recent hair transplant. However, we’re always curious to know what experts have to say.

According to The Daily Mail’s Femail, Dawn Attewell, a registered aesthetics nurse at, Cruise’s previous appearance was probably caused by “excessive filler” and “post-procedure swelling,” while his new appearance might be the result of a “hair transplant” and “skin tightening treatments.” Naturally, this is only said allegedly because the actor is not very open about the treatments he has or has not received.

Tom appeared big and puffy in the infamous October 2021 photo, which might have been brought on by too much filler, edema following treatment, or weight gain, according to Attewell. “This kind of swelling in these places is frequently caused by surgical treatments like a platysmaplasty, or neck lift, in combination with a mid-facelift. Tom appears more youthful, and I thought he looked fantastic at the Top Gun premiere. He may have used fillers or Botox.

Tom’s hairline has remained largely the same, despite slightly thinning, at the age of nearly 60, which does imply that he may have undergone hair transplants. Because of skin-tightening procedures like Morpheus8, which uses micro-needling to address fine lines and wrinkles, his jawline appears more sculpted.”

The company’s founder, Amar Suchde, added: “Many men have some loss of facial fat distribution, elastin, and skin fibers as they age. In fact, this, together with wrinkles around the eyes, may make a guy look quite appealing. However, in October, it appears that Tom made an effort to restore some of the facial fat that had been naturally lost, giving him a notable plumper appearance. I believe his goal was to restore some of the features he had lost and to support the structure of his face. He most likely achieved this through the use of fillers and Botox, however, we are unsure if he also gained weight at this time.”

In any case, Suchde continued, “Tom has maintained his distinguished jawline over the years, which in many men can become lost and start to sag.” Whatever he’s doing or not doing, his followers agree that he has never looked better! His luminous complexion may also suggest that Tom is receiving laser treatment, likely Profhilo, which is a common skin-enhancing procedure.

Tom Cruise Career

Cruise first relocated to New York City to pursue his acting career after graduating from high school. To audition for television opportunities, he immediately relocated to Los Angeles. Tom made his cinematic debut in 1981 with a supporting role in “Endless Love.” He received favorable reviews for his performance in “Taps” that same year.

Tom was also signed by the prestigious talent agency CAA as a result of that role. Tom was argued for by CAA agent Paula Wagner to Michael Ovitz, the managing partner of the company. Along with becoming a longtime customer of CAA, Tom would also create Cruise/Wagner Productions with Paula in the early 1990s.
