There’s nothing to do but remember the good old days! Some of the most memorable moments in pop culture were created on That ’70s Show.

It also helped launch the careers of actors such as Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderrama, and Danny Masterson when they were much younger.

Mark Brazill, Bonnie Turner, and Terry Turner’s That ’70s Show followed a group of high school students as they navigated life in the Wisconsin suburbs during the era. From 1998-2006, Fox aired seven seasons of the show.

We were a family, and will always be.”

The show’s stars, Grace and Kutcher, who played a supporting role, left after seven seasons. While Josh Meyers filled in for them during their absence, they returned for the 2006 series finale.

That ’80s Show was released in 2002 due to the popularity of That ’70s Show. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Glenn Howerton’s early career was featured in the spinoff series. The comedy only lasted for one season before being canceled.

Fans of That ’70s Show shouldn’t hold out hope for a revival in the vein of Roseanne or Full House, despite the show’s enduring popularity thanks to cable reruns and Netflix streaming. Grace has already hinted that it’s highly unlikely that the original cast will return for a revival.

“That cast has gone on to such amazing things. Each person individually has had such great success,” In September of 2018, he elaborated for Newsweek. “I would absolutely love to do it to spend time with those guys, but I don’t want to think about it too much. It’d be too fun of an idea, and I doubt it would happen.”

Topher Grace (Eric Forman)

Grace, who also played the lead on the hit sitcom, has appeared in films like Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! and Traffic. After seven seasons, he abruptly left the show in 2005 to focus on his film career but returned for the final episode.

After That ’70s Show ended, Grace maintained a consistent acting job, with roles in films like Interstellar and Spider-Man 3.

In 2018, Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman brought him widespread acclaim for playing the controversial politician David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Home Economics, an ABC sitcom starring the New York native, premiered in April 2021.

Grace said “I do” to the actress Ashley Hinshaw in 2016. Mabel, their daughter, was born in 2017, and two years later, in 2020, they welcomed their son.

The Home Economics actor and the True Blood alumna were expecting their third child in September 2022, and they shared the news on an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

In 2023, Grace appeared in an episode of the new It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Eric.

Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti)

After the series ended, most of Prepon’s credits remained in television rather than film. However, she did appear in films such as 2016’s The Girl on the Train.

After That ’70s Show, she became known for her role as Alex Vause on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black. She also appeared on Are You There, Chelsea? and October Road.

The couple tied the knot in 2018. They have two children: an Ella-named daughter and a son due in February 2020.

The native of New Jersey reprised her role as Donna and directed an episode for the Netflix revival.

Wilmer Valderrama (Fez)

After eight seasons as Fez, Valderrama found further success as a television actor. On Disney’s Handy Manny, he provided the title character’s voice; on NCIS, he played Nick Torres/Flashback Arturo Amador; on Minority Report, he was Will Blake.

Valderrama proposed to model Amanda Pacheco in 2020. Nakano Oceana, a daughter, was born to the couple in February 2021.

The actor who played Encanto’s protagonist in three episodes of That ’90s Show also played Fez.

Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso)

After breaking out on That ’70s Show, the Iowa native landed roles in films like The Butterfly Effect and Dude, Where’s My Car? Kutcher left after Season 7 like Grace did, only to return for the final episode.

After the series ended, he starred in movies like What Happens in Vegas and No Strings Attached and succeeded in business. Substituting for Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men and The Ranch brought him back to his television acting roots.

Before marrying Kunis in 2015, Kutcher was married to Demi Moore from 2005 to 2013. Wyatt and Dimitri are the children of the couple.

The Punk’d alum appeared in the remake with his wife, who plays a married couple in the film.

Mila Kunis (Jackie Burkhart)

Before her role as Jackie on That ’70s Show, Kunis had only one other TV role to her name. After a year of working on the show, she took over for Lacey Chabert as Meg Griffin’s voice actor on Family Guy.

While she did begin to branch out into film during the course of the series, her most prominent film roles did not come until after the show had ended. Among the movies she has starred in are Bad Moms, Friends with Benefits, and Black Swan.

Before settling down with Kutcher, Kunis dated Macaulay Culkin for eight years.

The actress, originally from Ukraine, and her husband returned to their role as Jackie and Chuck in That ’90s Show.

Debra Jo Rupp (Kitty Forman)

Before playing Eric Forman’s doting mother, Rupp was a regular on Friends as Alice Knight-Buffay, and she also made guest appearances on The Jeff Foxworthy Show and Davis Rules.

During the show’s airing in the late ’90s, she voiced a few characters on Disney’s Teacher’s Pet and had minor roles in films like Lucky 13 as Mrs. Baker.

After the sitcom’s success, she landed recurring roles on shows like This Is Us and The Ranch. Rupp has returned to her role as the series regular Kitty on That ’90s Show.

Tanya Roberts (Midge Pinciotti)

During the middle of That ’70s Show’s run, the Charlie’s Angels alum abruptly left in 2001 due to her husband’s deteriorating health, actor Barry Roberts. In 2005, she appeared in two episodes of Barbershop, her most recent acting credits.

Tanya and Barry wed in 1974 and remained together until Barry d!ed in 2006. She passed away at the age of 65 in January 2021.

Her representative has confirmed to TMZ that she was taken to the hospital on Christmas Eve, 2020 after she collapsed at home. She was ventilated, but she d!ed from her injuries.

Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie Forman)

Lisa Robin Kelly, who played Eric Forman’s promiscuous older sister on the Fox series, has acted in movies like Jawbreaker and appeared on Charmed. She played Laurie in the second season after being promoted from a recurring role in the first.

Partway through the third season, Laurie was written off the show. After those four episodes, however, she was replaced by Christina Moore for Season 6.

She starred in 2005’s The Food Chain: A Hollywood Scarytale and 2012’s SUX2BME after her time on That ’70s Show.

Kelly’s personal life included a struggle with substance abuse and four arrests that made headlines.

Kelly checked into Pax Rehab House in Altadena, California, in 2013, but she passed away a year later. There was an accidental overdose due to “multiple drug intoxication.”
