Stallings received a three-month suspension on July 7, 2015, for breaking the Tour’s doping rules. He self-reported his infraction to the PGA Tour after ingesting a vitamin on the list of prohibited substances.
Stallings’ first PGA Tour triumph came in July 2011 when he won the Greenbrier Classic. Stallings was able to enter a three-way playoff despite occasionally having difficulty in the last round. Instead, he was given a spot in the 2013 Open Championship. Stallings participated in the NGA Hooters Tour and the Tarheel Tour in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
