Novak Djokovic is a tennis superstar who has been married to his wife, Jelena Djokovic (previously Ristic), for several years.
Jelena keeps herself busy as a humanitarian working to improve the lives of poor children in Serbia and a mother of two children. She does, however, make time to support her husband at many of his tennis tournaments. In this article, we’ll learn more about Novak and Jelena’s meetings, children, and personal details.
Novak And Jelena Meet
Jelena and Novak had been dating for some years before marrying in 2014. In reality, the two had known each other since they were children, having attended the same high school in their native Serbia.
The couple met at school while both studying and playing tennis, and they dated for eight years until getting engaged in 2013 in Monte Carlo, where Novak was residing at the time.
Do They Have Any Children?
When the couple married, Jelena was expecting their first child. Stefan Djokovic, their son, was born on October 22, 2014.
Tara Djokovic, Jelena’s daughter, was born in September 2017. Novak posted on Instagram after Tara’s arrival, “Very happy and proud to welcome our little girl Tara to our home. Jelena and I have been hand in hand on their journey and as a man, I have to send my love and admiration to every single women out there for going through so much pain and effort to create life, to bring life and raise a human being … what a blessing to have an opportunity to be a parent!”

She’s Very Supportive of Her Husband
Novak lives an extremely busy lifestyle, and Jelena is there for him every step of the way. She once told the Daily Mail that while she gets “passionate” while watching Novak play, she has to be careful not to show too much emotion.
On the same day the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary, Jelena cheered on Novak during his Wimbledon victory on July 10, 2022. To commemorate the occasion, she shared a carousel of romantic photographs of the couple over the years with the message, “8 years married out of 17 years of growing up together.”
