Nicolas Kerdiles, a former professional ice hockey player, died at the age of 29 on September 23, 2023. In a motorcycle accident in Nashville, Tennessee, he was killed.

Nic Kerdiles Career
Kerdiles relocated to Irvine, California when he was six years old, where he learned and practiced hockey. He participated in the 2007 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a small LA ice hockey team.
He played two seasons of NCAA Division I hockey with the Wisconsin Badgers as a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, when he led them to the Broadmoor Trophy. As a result of this, he was named the most valuable player in the 2013 WCHA Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament.
Kerdiles was picked by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, however, he did not play for the Ducks until about 2016-2017, spending most of his time with the AHL’s Norfolk Admirals.
He made his professional debut against the Boston Bruins in June 2017, and his team re-signed him to a one-year, two-way contract extension for $650,000.
