When Did Martinez Start His Profession?
At the 2017 South American Youth Football Championship in Ecuador, Martínez earned four caps for the Argentina under-20 team. The first came against Venezuela in the opening round, while the other three occurred as Argentina finished fourth and advanced to the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea.
He was selected for the U-20 World Cup but did not play, only sitting on the bench as a substitute once against Guinea. Martinez played in one match for Argentina’s under-23 team, a 5-0 friendly win over Bolivia in September 2019.
