Reason Behind Divorce

Since the actor’s near-fatal plane crash earlier this year, Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford’s marriage has been challenging, and it is now said that they are about to file for a $224 million divorce. Understandably, Harrison has changed following his accident. According to previous tabloid allegations, Calista has been waiting on him nonstop, but despite her best efforts to make him comfortable, he has been hitting her.

According to the National Enquirer’s July issue, Harrison and Calista’s marital problems increased on June 13 when Calista left her husband on their wedding anniversary and traveled out of the country with her son Liam to see some relatives. According to a source who spoke to the publication, “Calista was allegedly traveling to see family, but the fact that she departed on an already complicated relationship added a lot more tension.” Their fifth wedding anniversary was their first since Harrison almost died in his most recent plane disaster. But Calista decided to go that day.

Calista cares very much for her husband after the plane accident, but he doesn’t respect her. The pair fight like dogs and cats. We can understand Calista’s concern that her spouse shouldn’t put himself at risk after nearly losing him. Harrison, however, has a strong passion for flying, and asking someone you care about to give up something they like is difficult. So finally, they get a divorce.
