Known professionally as Cardi B, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, born October 11, 1992, is an American rapper and songwriter. She is renowned for her frank lyrics and forceful flow. On October 11, 1992, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar was born in Manhattan’s Washington Heights. She was born in Trinidad to a Dominican father and a mother of African and Spanish ancestry.
