“Hunter has been such a blessing and a lucky part of our lives for our players, staff, and entire Academy,” said the players. In a statement, head football coach Troy Calhoun said, “He was a sheer joy to coach and had as a teammate.”
No one worked harder or more selflessly for others than Hunter. He was tough and an excellent worker. His parents, Candyce and Dustin, raised a lovely son who improved each of us. Hunter’s beautiful soul and his family are in our thoughts and prayers because we adore our terrific brother.
Brown was a Lake Charles, Louisiana, sophomore. He was a management major with a French minor. On September 23 this year, he played for the Falcons in their victory over Nevada. Lt. Gen. Richard M. Clark, superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy, said in a statement that Hunter was “a superb offensive lineman on the Falcon football team and was well-respected in his squadron.”
